Adulthood is a constant reckoning with what we can and can't control. We can't control the weather, but we can dress properly for it. We can't control others' behavior, but we can moderate our responses to it. Extraordinary times bring further lessons: we can't control a global pandemic, but we can follow our local orders to help slow its spread. Amid all the uncertainty, there's something else you might be able to control: when you retire. If you were thinking of retiring soon, it might be good to keep working for a bit longer. Even in normal times, Suze Orman believes everyone should work until age 70, if possible. I sat down with Suze late last month, just as the coronavirus clouds were gathering. We discussed her new book, The Ultimate Retirement Guide for 50+. Learn Suze's advice for stormy markets in today's edition.
Best wishes,
Elizabeth

RETIRE WITH MONEY COMMUNITY INSIGHTS
A number of you reported problems with the link in last week's newsletter to Suze Orman's web site, where she is running a special promotion on her new book, The Ultimate Retirement Guide for 50+. The link redirected people to outside sellers, which wasn't the intention. I'm sorry about that! Please open a fresh browser and type in suzeorman.com/womenandmoney. You'll see the special, $10 book price on the right of the screen. Or you can call customer support at 1-888-510-0510 and they can place the order over the phone.
