At least 5 people have been killed and a total of 21 shot after a mass shooting in Odessa and Midland, Texas on Saturday afternoon.

Police said the shooting started when a white man in his mid-30s shot a Texas Department of Public Safety trooper during a traffic stop. Police confirmed that the gunman was later killed at the Odessa Cinergy movie theater.
