For many Americans, getting health insurance through their jobs is one of the best perks of being a full-time employee. But health insurance through work has been getting more expensive in recent years and is expected to jump even more in 2026.
Already in 2025, according to one new study, premiums for a family of four on employer-sponsored coverage jumped by 6%, and employees paid for 25% of that increase.
