Of the millennials planning to buy a home in the next year, more than 30 percent plan to spend between $200,000 and $299,999, while 27 percent plan to pay between $100,000 and $199,999. Only 5 percent have a budget of $500,000 or more, despite the high prices in many major U.S. cities.
"People do great things not because they are blessed with remarkable ability, great charisma or any special advantages, but because when they hear that voice whisper, 'This could be your moment,' they simply choose to act," writes Jean Case, chairman of the National Geographic Society and CEO of the Case Foundation.
