Natural gas hits a September 2020 low
Many of the natural gas stocks have had big drops in the last three months.
At this point, I don't see any other cybersecurity stocks popping after hours.
In the last month, however, Cloudflare is up 35%.
Fortinet is up 21% in a month.
Splunk is up 12% in a month.
CyberArk Software is up 11% in a month.
On the other side, SolarWinds is down 11% in a month.
Higher bond rates vs. high yielding solid stocks
The U.S. 1-month Treasury is now near 4.6%.
The U.S. 6-month Treasury is above 5%.
The U.S. 2-year Treasury is at 4.6%.
The U.S. 10-year Treasury is at 3.9%.
Among some of the top dividend stocks, Pioneer Natural Resources – which reports Wednesday – is paying 12.7%. Coterra Energy is paying 10.8%, and Altria pays 7.9%.
If you just take the top dividend payers in the Dow 30 as of today: Verizon pays 6.7%. AT&T pays 5.8%. 3M is paying 5.5%. Walgreens Boots Alliance is paying 5.3%. Intel pays 5.6%. Chevron pays 3.8%. Coca-Cola pays 3.1%. JPMorgan pays 2.9%. Goldman Sachs pays 2.8%.
Notable names reporting Wednesday
Baidu is 17% from the 52-week high. The stock is up 23% in 2023.
TJX is 6% from the 52-week high. Shares are down 1% in 2023.
Wingstop is 8% from a 52-week high. It's up about 21% in 2023.
Nvidia is 28% from a 52-week high. Shares are up 41% in 2023.
Bumble is 42% from the 52-week high, and it's up 6.9% in 2023. This is a volatile and interesting company that will face new challenges and may find itself in a race to use artificial intelligence to its advantage before a competitor does.
