BY ANDREA DELBANCO Editor in Chief, TIME for Kids Happy Thanksgiving to our U.S. readers! I'm feeling thankful for many things at the moment. As I've noted, we sent our oldest child to college this year. Because I felt so sad saying goodbye to her, I didn't look ahead to the anticipation and excitement of having her at home again, for the holiday. It elicits a new emotion for me, as a parent. It's a mixture I can't quite name, part joy, relief, and nostalgia. I'm so thankful to be feeling it, and discovering the upside to what has mainly been a hard passage in the parenting journey.
