There’s an app for everything, they say. I wouldn’t really know--most of the apps on my phone belong to my two boys, who don’t have their own phones yet and have happily co-opted mine. But I have some fresh inspiration in today’s edition, with a story on free apps that will save you money immediately. Even small amounts can add up over time and pad your retirement nest egg. One app even negotiates on your behalf to bring down the price of your cable bill! Now if only they'd take out the trash....
