Most of us know Dr. Oz as the charismatic, energetic host of his Emmy-winning daytime talk show. He's now President Trump's choice to head the agency that oversees Medicare and Medicaid—which means he could play a role in changing insurance coverage.
But some in the medical community feel his financial ties to companies and products he endorses raise questions about the quality of his medical advice. I spoke to one of his closest collaborators about what we might expect from an Oz-led agency.
