Retirement is a time of transitions, from work to leisure, and from saving to spending. Indeed, experts say having a savings cushion of at least a year’s worth of living expenses in a short-term cash account can help ease retirees’ fears about spending down their nest eggs. You certainly don’t want to spend too much, but assuming you have a healthy amount saved, you also don’t want to spend too little and compromise your lifestyle unnecessarily. Read more in today’s edition about how to strike this delicate balance.
