10 boundaries therapists want you to set in the New Year

I recently interviewed a therapist who suggested thinking of boundaries as "your own personal rules of engagement"—one of the best ways I've heard the buzzy concept explained. When we draw these sorts of lines and are clear about our wants, needs, and deal-breakers, we protect our mental and physical well-being.
With that in mind, I asked experts what boundaries they're setting in 2025—and why the rest of us would do well to follow in their footsteps.
