Here's a confession: I love spoilers. I almost always want to know how the movie or TV show I'm watching, or the book I'm reading, ends—and for a long time, I thought it was just me. It turns out I'm far from alone.

I asked psychologists, researchers, and the guy behind the most famous spoiler account on the internet to help make sense of the appeal.
