“Why Haven’t You Had a Baby Yet?”

If you’re reading this newsletter, you’re probably not going to be asked why you haven’t had a baby yet. But maybe my assumption is wrong, or maybe you’ve been in that position in the past. Moreover, if you’re tempted to ask someone else that question, don’t—even if you mean well. Separately, I’ll note that Thanksgiving and the winter holidays are a stressful time for parents (arguably, for everyone), and it’s not exactly relaxing to read the news right now, with emotions and geopolitical tensions running hot.
